WHAT IF . . . taking notes makes you smarter?
RESEARCH SAYS: Did you know that Leonardo Da Vinci filled notebook after notebook with ideas, inventions, sketches, and more? It turns out Da Vinci was on to something. We become smarter because the act of writing or drawing excites different parts of our brains so that ideas become more tangible. We are more likely to be more creative, and we are able to reason a connection between the unconnected.
TRY THIS: Take it from DaVinci . . . observe, doodle, contemplate. Whatever you do make sure that you are taking notes.
